Former President Barack Obama, during a rally in Pittsburgh, advocated for Vice President Kamala Harris and took direct aim at Donald Trump. Speaking particularly to American men, Obama criticized Trump’s behavior, calling it a false display of strength. “That is not what real strength is. It never has been,” Obama said, referring to Trump’s bullying tactics. He emphasized that real strength lies in hard work, responsibility, and standing up for those in need.

Obama expressed concern over a gender gap in the election, noting Harris’ struggles with male voters, including Latino and Black men, some of whom have shown support for Trump. He directly challenged Trump’s false claims and divisive rhetoric, urging voters not to overlook these behaviors. “When did that become OK?” Obama asked.

The former president is particularly focused on mobilizing African American men as the election approaches. He addressed concerns about lower turnout among men, particularly those uncomfortable with the idea of a woman president, urging them to engage with their communities and reject Trump’s brand of masculinity.
