WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of Justice released additional documents tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation that include unverified allegations involving President Donald Trump.
The files were initially omitted from a prior government release after being incorrectly coded as duplicates. The DOJ said 15 documents were later identified and published after the error was discovered.
Among the materials is a summary of an FBI interview with a woman who alleged she was sexually abused by Trump after being introduced to him by Epstein when she was between 13 and 15 years old. The woman’s name was redacted in the records.
The DOJ noted the documents contain allegations that have not been corroborated. Trump has previously denied wrongdoing related to Epstein.
Rep. Robert Garcia (D-Calif.), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, had previously raised concerns that documents were missing from the earlier release and called for their disclosure.
Garcia also demanded Attorney General Pam Bondi clarify whether the president is under investigation. The House Oversight Committee recently voted to subpoena Bondi to testify about her handling of the Epstein records.
