Former President Donald Trump met briefly with Blue Origin executives, CEO David Limp and VP of government relations Megan Mitchell, following a speech in Austin, Texas, according to the Associated Press. The meeting coincided with news that the Washington Post, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, will break its longstanding tradition of endorsing a presidential candidate.

The Washington Post’s publisher, Will Lewis, acknowledged that the decision could be perceived as favoring one candidate or opposing another, but emphasized it reflects the values of the publication. This decision reportedly disappointed some staff members. For the last 30 years, the Post has consistently endorsed presidential candidates, supporting Trump’s opponents in both 2016 and 2020, while Trump has frequently criticized the paper’s coverage of him.
