At a Mar-a-Lago event, former President Donald Trump accused Vice President Kamala Harris of running a “campaign of hate” as she prepares for a closing speech urging the nation to “turn the page” on Trump. Trump described Harris’s approach as “immoralization” and “destruction,” claiming she serves as a “vessel” for a powerful group working against the country. He also linked her rhetoric to two recent assassination attempts against him, calling her comments “shameful.”

Trump’s response included similar accusations, labeling Harris as both “fascist” and “Marxist” and calling his opponents the “enemy from within.” At a recent Trump rally, some supporters echoed these sentiments; comedian Tony Hinchcliffe targeted Puerto Ricans in inflammatory remarks, and radio host Sid Rosenberg called Democrats “degenerates.” Harris responded by stating that such events contribute to a national sense of exhaustion with the former president’s rhetoric.
