Virginia City, Nevada — A national voting advocacy group has released a new report naming what it calls the “Top 10 Most Dangerous Election Deniers,” including several current and former public officials tied to disputes over the 2020 election.
The group All Voting is Local, which promotes election access and administration standards, ranked Storey County Clerk-Treasurer Jim Hindle eighth on the list. Hindle is responsible for overseeing elections in his Nevada county and was previously indicted, along with other Republican officials, in connection with efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election results. That case was initially dismissed on jurisdictional grounds but later revived on appeal, with additional hearings scheduled.
The report argues that individuals included have taken actions that could undermine election integrity, such as supporting false claims of widespread voter fraud or backing legislation aimed at tightening voting requirements.
The full list includes:
- Donald Trump
- U.S. Department of Justice
- Pam Bondi
- Heather Honey, DHS Election Integrity official
- Janice Johnston, Janelle King, Salleigh Grubbs, James Mills (Georgia Election Board)
- Josh Parsons, Pennsylvania county commissioner
- Bob Spindell, Wisconsin elections commissioner
- Jim Hindle, Nevada clerk-treasurer
- Justin Heap, Arizona county recorder
- Ron DeSantis
The organization said those named have supported or advanced claims about election fraud that lack evidence, citing research showing such fraud is rare and unlikely to affect outcomes.
Critics of the list argue it reflects partisan framing, while supporters say it highlights ongoing risks to election administration.
The report comes as legal and political battles over election procedures continue across several states.
