Authorities arrested at least 80 people during a Sunday morning raid at the unlicensed Alamo nightclub in Charleston County, South Carolina. Among those detained were two suspected cartel members tied to Mexico’s Los Zetas and Venezuela’s Tren de Aragua, and one individual wanted by Interpol for murder in Honduras.

Dubbed “Operation Last Stand,” the sting involved federal, state, and local agencies. Officers also rescued 10 juveniles—some as young as 13—including a missing child and possible human trafficking victims. Authorities seized cocaine, firearms, and cash.

The club, operating illegally without an alcohol license, had around 200 patrons when raided. Homeland Security agent Cardell Morant called it a “cartel afterparty,” noting over 80% of those arrested were in the U.S. illegally.

Charges include assault on police, resisting arrest, drug possession, and felon-in-possession offenses. Officials withheld the names and full charges of those arrested, but the investigation, which began in November over noise and assault reports, is ongoing.
