Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said Saturday that he would fully mobilize the state National Guard for the first time since World War II to bring an end to the “wanton destruction” from protests sparked by the death of George Floyd.
He said people from out of state were primarily responsible for the violence, as about 80 percent of those arrested on Friday night were from outside Minnesota.
