Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley, in a recent campaign event, stated she would pardon former President Trump if she wins the presidency. Captured by NBC News, Haley emphasized this decision would be “in the best interest of the country,” especially to prevent further division. Trump is currently embroiled in four criminal cases, totaling 91 counts. These include two federal indictments by special counsel Jack Smith, related to the 2020 presidential election and mishandling national defense information. Additionally, he faces charges in New York for hush-money payments and a Georgia criminal RICO case regarding the 2020 election.
