Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will conduct operations at the 2026 Super Bowl, where Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny is set to headline the halftime show, according to Department of Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski.

“There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” Lewandowski said Wednesday on “The Benny Show.” He added that ICE will “find you, apprehend you, and deport you,” calling the enforcement effort a directive from President Trump.

The NFL confirmed Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy winner, will perform at the game in Santa Clara, California. In a statement, the artist said the opportunity was “for my people, my culture and our history.” Last month, he told i-D Magazine he avoided U.S. venues on his world tour partly due to fears of ICE raids.

Lewandowski criticized the NFL’s decision, claiming Bad Bunny “seems to hate America” and arguing that other performers would better represent unity. He emphasized that enforcement operations will continue regardless of who headlines.
