Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) stated that former President Trump has no regrets about choosing Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) as his running mate, despite backlash over Vance’s past comments.

Vance has faced criticism for his remarks about “childless cat ladies” following his selection as Trump’s vice-presidential candidate. On CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Graham defended Vance, citing his compelling life story and resilience. “The American-first agenda will be in good hands with JD no matter who the Democrats pick,” Graham added.

Vance’s comments during a 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson have drawn ire, particularly from the Harris campaign, suggesting Trump will regret his decision. Some House Republicans also expressed concerns, with one calling Vance the “worst choice of all the options.”

Despite this, Trump remains supportive. “He’s fantastic,” Trump said on “Fox & Friends.” “He’s essentially for the worker. He’s doing a great job, and he’s been very well received.”
