Democratic former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton are reportedly planning to join forces with President Joe Biden in a fundraising effort, as the 2024 presidential race heats up. According to NBC News, this move aims to spark voter enthusiasm and financial support, with a potential fundraiser event possibly slated for March or April.

As the 2024 election approaches, it’s shaping up to be a rematch between Biden and former President Donald Trump. However, public excitement for this rematch appears to be lukewarm, partly due to concerns about Biden’s age—he is currently 81, while Trump will turn 78 this year.

Biden’s approval rating has been a point of concern, lingering in the high 30s over the past year. The involvement of Obama and Clinton in Biden’s campaign recognizes the perceived need for additional support. An unnamed Biden advisor emphasized the urgency to defeat Trump, with everyone in the Democratic camp being “all in.”

Earlier this month, Obama reportedly encouraged Biden to intensify his campaign efforts, expressing concern over the possibility of Trump’s return to power. The Biden reelection campaign is ramping up its activities, with increased hiring and an aggressive schedule that includes Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris actively engaging with voters.
