The Senate has passed a $60 billion aid package for Ukraine, but it faces hurdles in the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has signaled a lack of readiness to bring it to a vote. The White House criticized Johnson for adjourning the House without addressing the aid package, accusing him of compromising national security and diminishing congressional Republicans’ reputation among the American public.
