Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host, announced the launch of his own streaming service, the Tucker Carlson Network, offering commentary, interviews, and documentaries for $72 a year. Carlson revealed this venture on The Megyn Kelly Show, a podcast and radio show hosted by Megyn Kelly, another former Fox News personality.

The service, staffed by Carlson’s former Fox team, comes seven months after his abrupt departure from Fox News. The reasons for his firing remain undisclosed, but it followed shortly after Fox’s $787 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems over 2020 election coverage.

Carlson’s new platform aims to present content without interference, focusing on what he describes as the “unadorned truth.” Among the offerings are “The Tucker Carlson Encounter,” a conversation show, and “The Tucker Carlson Interview,” featuring formal Q&A sessions, with initial guests including Kid Rock and John Daly. Some content will be available for free on his website, while others, like “Tucker Carlson Uncensored” and “Tucker Carlson Films,” will be behind a paywall.

Carlson has ruled out the possibility of a political career, despite speculation, and continues to engage with his audience through various formats, including his partnership with the social media platform X. Neil Patel, co-founder of The Daily Caller with Carlson, will serve as CEO of the new network.
