President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that he “got every answer right” on a cognitive test taken during his annual physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The four-hour exam, conducted by Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, included heart tests, imaging, and a cognitive assessment.

“I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right,” Trump said, adding that results would be released by Sunday. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the president was undergoing “quite a lot” of testing and that the physician would issue a full readout.

At 78, Trump is the oldest president to be inaugurated. He used the test to draw a contrast with former President Joe Biden, whose cognitive fitness was scrutinized during the 2024 campaign, prompting Biden’s withdrawal from the race last July.

Trump has taken similar tests multiple times before and has previously boasted about perfect scores as proof of his mental sharpness.
