President Donald Trump renewed his call for an investigation into Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her husband, Paul Pelosi, over alleged insider trading, posting on Truth Social Saturday night that the couple “beat ALL of the Super Geniuses on Wall Street” in 2024. He accused them of using “INSIDE INFORMATION” and called Pelosi a “disgusting degenerate” for impeaching him twice.

Pelosi’s office has denied the accusations, stating she owns no stocks, while indicating she would support a stock trading ban for members of Congress. Paul Pelosi, a venture capital firm founder, has regularly posted strong market returns, contributing to the couple’s combined net worth of more than $413 million, according to disclosures.

Trump’s comments come as the HONEST Act, formerly known as the PELOSI Act, advanced from a Senate committee. Sponsored by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), the bill would ban stock trading for members of Congress. Trump has expressed mixed feelings about it, supporting the idea but initially raising concerns it could be used against his assets. Hawley assured him the bill exempts the president, after which Trump reaffirmed his backing.
