Alex Bruesewitz, CEO of X Strategies and adviser to Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign, collapsed during a speech at the New York Young Republicans Club Gala on Sunday. Initially speaking fluently, Bruesewitz began slurring his words before falling. Attendees rushed to assist him.
Bruesewitz, a prominent figure in the MAGA movement, was listed as an honored guest alongside figures like former NYC Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, Reps. Cory Mills and Marc Molinaro, and Trump adviser Jason Miller. Other speakers included Brexit leader Nigel Farage and former White House aides Dan Scavino and Steve Bannon.
Bruesewitz reportedly recovered backstage in good spirits, though no official cause for his collapse has been disclosed.
