Conservative activist Laura Loomer is publicly feuding with Calley Means, brother of Trump’s new surgeon general nominee Casey Means. The dispute centers on accusations over loyalty to Donald Trump. Loomer criticized Casey Means’s qualifications and claimed that Calley Means paid podcasters to promote her nomination.
Means, a Department of Health and Human Services adviser under Robert F. Kennedy Jr, alleged Loomer was being paid by industry insiders to undermine Trump’s agenda. He challenged her to sue him and go through legal discovery.
Loomer responded with a strongly worded post, accusing Means of PR manipulation and undermining her connection with the president. She insisted she had been consulted by White House officials about Casey Means. Calley Means rebutted by citing a podcast appearance where he advocated for Trump and accused Loomer of distorting his words to sow doubt about his loyalty.
Both siblings are involved in Kennedy’s public health initiatives and now find themselves at odds with a prominent Trump surrogate.
