Washington, D.C. — Outgoing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will join the Trump-aligned MAGA Inc. super PAC after leaving the administration at the end of August, returning to an organization where she previously served as a spokesperson.
Leavitt confirmed the move Friday while speaking with reporters before traveling with President Donald Trump to a campaign rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She did not disclose her new title but said reporters would continue seeing her frequently on the campaign trail.
MAGA Inc. has become one of the most financially powerful groups supporting Trump and Republican candidates heading into the 2026 midterms. The super PAC reportedly has more than $350 million available for political spending.
Leavitt announced last week that she would leave the White House to spend more time with her family after recently returning from maternity leave. Trump has said she will remain one of his top advisers and an influential voice within the Republican Party.
Before joining Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and later becoming White House press secretary, Leavitt worked as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc., making the move a return to familiar territory rather than a complete career shift.
The White House has not yet announced Leavitt’s replacement. Trump said Friday that the administration has received numerous applications for the job, while several Republican media figures and political operatives have been discussed as possible successors.
