Fred Trump III, former President Trump’s nephew, announced his support for Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, stating his preference for her policies over those of his uncle. “I believe in policy over politics, and without question, Kamala Harris’s policies are what I get behind,” he said on “The View.” He also expressed willingness to campaign for her.

Fred Trump and his sister, Mary, have been outspoken critics of their uncle. In an ABC News interview, he described the former president’s approach as “complex and sometimes cruel,” calling him “atomic crazy.”

Promoting his new book, All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way, Fred Trump shared “never-before-told stories” about his family, including a claim that his uncle suggested people with disabilities “should just die.” He recounted a phone call where Trump allegedly told him to let his disabled son die.

Trump communications director Steven Cheung denied these claims, calling them “completely fabricated” and “total fake news.” Cheung criticized the allegations as an attempt to sell books, asserting that such stories have been debunked.
