Laura Loomer, a vocal supporter of President-elect Trump and far-right activist, accused some Republicans close to Trump of being hesitant to challenge Elon Musk. Speaking to conservative broadcaster Eric Bolling, Loomer claimed, “Nobody wants to cross this guy,” referring to Musk as “the monarch” and suggesting fear of his influence.
Loomer criticized Musk’s financial support of Trump, citing his nearly $239 million contributions to America PAC during the 2024 election cycle. She advocated for stricter campaign finance regulations to address the issue of billionaire donations.
In a separate interview with Steve Bannon on his “War Room” podcast, Loomer called Musk a “Stage 5 clinger” and suggested his wealth and proximity to Trump intimidate others. Musk has faced criticism from Trump allies, including Loomer, for his stance on H-1B visas and alleged censorship on X, his social media platform.
