During a campaign rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, former President Donald Trump warned that mass deportations of undocumented immigrants would be a “bloody story” if he wins the 2024 election. Trump’s comments align with the Republican National Committee’s newly adopted platform, which advocates for aggressive immigration enforcement, including the largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
Trump’s remarks, captured in a video with over 260,000 views on X, reflect the GOP’s hardline stance. The platform calls for sealing the border, deporting millions, and strengthening U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Trump also plans to reinstate his “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Ohio Senator JD Vance, Trump’s vice-presidential pick, echoed similar views, pushing for mass deportations, especially of violent criminals. Despite such rhetoric, some Republican lawmakers, like Texas Representative Tony Gonzales, have expressed doubts about the feasibility of deporting millions of people.
