West Palm Beach, Florida — President Donald Trump spent Christmas Day posting at a rapid pace on his Truth Social platform, publishing well over 100 posts and reposts that mixed holiday messages with familiar political grievances, election fraud claims, and attacks on opponents. The activity stretched from Christmas morning into the early hours of the following day, reaching an audience of more than 11 million followers.
Many of Trump’s posts revisited his long-standing claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, despite courts and election officials finding no evidence of fraud that would have changed the outcome. He amplified videos and messages from allies calling for investigations and prosecutions of prominent Democrats, including former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as House members Nancy Pelosi and Ilhan Omar. One repost called for Omar, a U.S. citizen, to be deported.
Trump also used the posting spree to promote his economic record and foreign policy achievements, including claims that his administration prevented wars abroad and delivered strong economic growth. Some posts appeared to respond to newly released Epstein-related Justice Department documents, which Trump has argued were released to distract from Republican successes.
Polling data suggests Trump has recently lost ground with voters concerned about grocery and utility costs, and a Gallup survey places his approval rating in the mid-30s. The White House declined to say whether Trump personally authored all the posts or whether aides assisted. The episode continues a pattern of Trump blending holiday messaging with sharp partisan commentary.
