Former President Trump challenged President Biden to another debate, calling for a “no holds barred” format. “Let’s do another Debate, but this time, no holds barred…with just the two of us on stage,” Trump said on Truth Social. He emphasized that the debate would address issues like immigration and inflation, and predicted high ratings.
Biden’s recent debate performance, where he stumbled over his words, has led to calls from some Democrats for him to drop out. However, Biden remains firm, stating, “I’m the Democratic Party’s nominee. No one is pushing me out. I’m not leaving, I’m in this race to the end.”
Trump, in his Thursday post, expressed eagerness for another debate, saying, “What a great evening it would be, just the two of us, one on one…ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!!!”
The White House reiterated that Biden is not stepping down. At a Fourth of July event, Biden declared, “I’m not going anywhere.” The Biden campaign has not yet responded to Trump’s challenge.
