A Reuters/Ipsos poll released Thursday found that 56% of Americans believe President Donald Trump is too closely aligned with Russia, including 27% of Republicans and 89% of Democrats.

The poll also showed 44% of respondents support Trump’s plan to condition military aid to Ukraine in exchange for a U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal, with two-thirds of Republicans backing it but only 1 in 5 Democrats in favor.

The survey was conducted as Trump pushes a ceasefire deal between Ukraine and Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed to the proposal, leaving Russian President Vladimir Putin to respond. On Thursday, Putin said he was open to a 30-day ceasefire, while thanking Trump for his role in negotiations.

Trump has faced criticism for calling Zelensky a dictator and blaming Ukraine for Russia’s invasion. His administration restored military and intelligence assistance to Ukraine following talks in Saudi Arabia.

The poll surveyed 1,422 adults and has a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
