The Pentagon has refuted claims that foreign entities are behind mysterious drones observed near sensitive military sites in New Jersey. Deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh stated there is “no evidence” linking the drones to a foreign adversary and emphasized that U.S. installations were not threatened.

Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-N.J.) suggested on Fox News that Iran was launching drones from a “mothership” off the U.S. coast, a claim Singh directly denied. “There is no Iranian ship off the coast…and no mothership launching drones,” she asserted.

The FBI is investigating the incidents, with assistant director Robert Wheeler testifying that no individual or group has yet been identified. Reports of drone swarms near military facilities, including those in New Jersey and Virginia, as well as bases abroad, have persisted for months.
