Marianne Williamson has officially ended her bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, stepping aside from challenging President Biden.
In a statement shared via a YouTube video on Wednesday, Williamson reflected on the concept of beautiful endings, quoting, “Sunsets are proof that endings can be beautiful too.” Although acknowledging the conclusion of her campaign, she expressed a desire to see the beauty in this moment. Williamson, who also contended in the 2020 primary race without success, has decided it is time to suspend her presidential campaign efforts.
