Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo questioned House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) about the lack of progress in House Republicans’ investigations into President Biden and other political figures. The Judiciary Committee’s recent report claims that the New York County District Attorney’s Office’s hush money probe into former President Trump is “political prosecution.”

Jordan expressed frustration over legal battles related to Trump’s federal election interference case and allegations of involvement in overturning Georgia’s 2020 election results. Bartiromo pressed for action, asking what could be done to address these concerns.

Jordan explained that the committee has passed legislation to address the situation, particularly in New York. However, he emphasized that as a legislative branch, they cannot directly imprison anyone. He also doubted that the Biden administration’s Department of Justice would pursue those responsible.

House Republicans continue their impeachment probe into Biden, but doubts persist within their party about uncovering wrongdoing. The inquiry centers on allegations of Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals.
