Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded to former President Trump’s “barely coherent” rant on TruthSocial, challenging him to a presidential debate. Trump had targeted Kennedy, an Independent presidential candidate, in a series of posts, arguing that Kennedy was in the race to aid President Biden and criticizing his running mate, Nichole Shanahan.

Kennedy, however, praised Trump’s debating skills and urged him not to panic about exchanging ideas on stage. He stated that he would confront Trump on various issues in a hypothetical debate, including Trump’s support for funding Ukraine, the national debt, and his failure to “drain the swamp.”

Kennedy criticized Trump’s presidency, saying, “He promised to end the Ukraine war and then colluded with Speaker Johnson and President Biden to fund it… He promised to drain the swamp and then filled his administration with swamp creatures. He promised to protect our rights and then torpedoed the Constitution.”

Kennedy invited Trump to a respectful debate to defend his record. Despite this, recent polls show Kennedy trailing both Trump and Biden, with Kennedy garnering 7.7 percent support in a hypothetical three-way race.
