Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign unveiled “Republicans for Harris,” featuring over 25 endorsements from prominent GOP figures, including former Secretaries Chuck Hagel and Ray LaHood, alongside ex-GOP governors and lawmakers. Notable endorsements include Trump-era officials Stephanie Grisham and Olivia Troye, who both worked closely with former Vice President Mike Pence.

Hagel and LaHood, who served under former President Obama, are joined by former Reps. Christopher Shays (R-Conn.), Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), Susan Molinari (R-N.Y.), and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), who had previously supported President Biden. Grisham urged other Trump administration officials to support Harris, emphasizing the importance of integrity and democracy.

Republicans for Harris aims to mobilize GOP voters in battleground states like Arizona, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, starting with events on Monday. The campaign also secured endorsements from former GOP Govs. Bill Weld (Mass.), Christine Todd Whitman (N.J.), and Jim Edgar (Ill.), and former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R).

Austin Weatherford, Harris’s national director of Republican outreach, criticized Trump’s “MAGA extremism” and stressed the importance of defending democracy and decency, which he claims are at risk under a second Trump presidency.
