Far-right European leaders gathered in Madrid at an event hosted by Spain’s Vox party under the slogan “Make Europe Great Again,” celebrating former U.S. President Donald Trump’s policies as a turning point for Europe. Attendees included Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Italy’s Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini, and French National Rally leader Marine Le Pen.

Speakers also stressed border defense, despite Frontex reporting a sharp decline in irregular EU crossings in 2024. Le Pen said Trump’s victory signaled a “real change” for Europe and claimed her coalition was best positioned to collaborate with his administration.
