July 2023 was the hottest month ever recorded, with a global average temperature of 16.95 degrees Celsius. This surpasses the previous record set in 2019.

Unfortunately, the high temperatures have led to dangerous heatwaves in various regions, such as the Southwestern United States, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.

Climate scientists attribute this record-breaking heat to human-caused climate change and warn of dire consequences for both people and the planet.
