A French spokesperson had no immediate comment, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot neither confirmed nor denied the summit. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski later stated that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk would attend at French President Emmanuel Macron’s invitation, emphasizing the need to demonstrate “strength and unity.”
