Cracker Barrel has removed several pages highlighting its LGBTQ+ and diversity efforts from its website, days after reverting to its old logo following criticism of a redesign.
Archived versions of the site show the company once maintained a Pride page referencing its LGBTQ+ Alliance and participation in Nashville Pride parades, as well as a section outlining diversity and inclusion goals. Both are now gone. A list of employee resource groups for Black, Hispanic, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent employees has also disappeared.
In a statement to CNN, Cracker Barrel said the deletions involved “out-of-date content” and that the company would now focus its sponsorships and events on food insecurity, community support, and waste reduction. It did not confirm whether the resource groups remain active.
The moves come as President Donald Trump pressures businesses to abandon DEI programs and as conservatives increasingly target corporate diversity initiatives. Trump also joined critics of Cracker Barrel’s short-lived new logo, later taking credit when the company restored its old design.
