A ballistic missile was fired by North Korea into the eastern sea as a form of protest against the US sending naval assets to South Korea. The launch location and missile’s flight distance were not immediately disclosed by South Korea’s military.
Tensions have escalated and North Korea has demonstrated against the US recently deploying a nuclear-propelled submarine to South Korea.
