The White House and CNN have criticized Fox News host Mark Levin for calling CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper “self-hating Jews.” Deputy White House press secretary Andrew Bates said, “Not only is Fox News aligning with those who fan the flames of hate – Fox is paying their salaries.” He added, “Lying to insult the pain that families suffered in the Holocaust has absolutely no place in America.”

Levin falsely claimed Blitzer’s parents were not Holocaust victims. CNN condemned Levin’s comments as “wildly uninformed, inappropriate and shameful” and called his “antisemitic rhetoric” dangerous. In response, Levin accused CNN of trying to “intimidate” and “silence” him, labeling the network “one of the most pro-Hamas media outlets in the country.” He hosts a radio show and a weekend TV talk show on Fox News Channel.
