Claim by Marsha Blackburn (R): The republican senator from Tennessee Claimed via X that the postponement of the E. Jean Carroll vs. Donald Trump trial was a deliberate act of election interference by the left to prevent Donald Trump from campaigning in New Hampshire.

A day before the NH Primary, the Carroll v. Trump WITCH HUNT has been postponed, possibly resuming tomorrow am — preventing @realDonaldTrump from campaigning there. The Left’s election interference strikes again. Are you paying attention yet? Don’t let them win. VOTE TRUMP.

Reasoning: The trial was postponed due to health-related concerns. One juror reported feeling ill, necessitating a COVID test. Additionally, Alina Habba, Trump’s lead lawyer, had contracted a fever after dining with her parents, who tested positive for COVID-19. Both Habba and her co-counsel tested negative for COVID-19 on the day of the trial. The decision to postpone the trial was made by U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, who also considered whether to allow Trump to testify on a later date, enabling him to be present at the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary. The delay was requested by Trump’s lawyer, not the opposition or the court.

Fact or Fiction? Fiction. The delay of the trial was from Trump’s attorney due to health concerns and logistical reasons, not as an act of election interference by the left, as claimed by Marsha Blackburn.
