The first batch of documents was found at the Penn Biden Center, while a second batch was found in his garage in Wilmington. It remains unknown why Mr. Biden kept these documents, and he has claimed to be unaware of their presence.
The interview with President Biden was conducted as part of an investigation into his handling of classified documents. Similar investigations have been launched into secret documents found at Donald Trump’s home, and Trump is facing charges related to retaining national defense secrets.
