Tech mogul Elon Musk, appearing at a rally in Butler, Pa., alongside former President Donald Trump, accused Democrats of trying to strip Americans of their fundamental rights. Musk claimed that Democrats want to “take away your freedom of speech, they want to take away your right to bear arms, they want to take away your right to vote, effectively.” His remarks come as Musk becomes increasingly politically active, particularly aligning himself with Trump after endorsing him following an assassination attempt in July.

Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter) and Tesla, expressed strong support for Trump, criticizing President Biden while promoting voter turnout. He also warned that the 2024 election could be “the last” if Democrats win, a claim made without evidence.

The rally highlighted growing political divisions, with Democrats advocating for expanded voting rights and stricter gun control, while Republicans argue these efforts may undermine citizens’ freedoms. However, Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee, has consistently denied any intention of taking away guns from lawful owners.
