In an interview with Channel 4 News, Zelensky invited Trump to visit Kyiv, challenging him to stop the war in 24 hours. This invitation follows Trump’s repeated claims of being able to “solve” the Eastern European conflict easily, a stance Zelensky finds “very dangerous” due to its lack of detail and unilateral approach.

Zelensky’s remarks coincide with his efforts to garner support at the World Economic Forum in Davos amidst Congressional division in the U.S. over further aid to Ukraine.
