The White House confirmed Thursday it will revise President Donald Trump‘s recently released “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) report following revelations that it contains false citations and broken links. A NOTUS investigation found at least seven nonexistent studies among the report’s 73 pages, as well as dozens of faulty footnotes.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that formatting issues are being addressed but defended the report’s broader message. “It does not negate the substance of the report,” she said, calling it “one of the most transformative health reports” released by the federal government.

The MAHA report was published by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has promoted medical misinformation and questioned vaccine safety. Leavitt declined to confirm whether artificial intelligence was used to draft the report.

Kennedy has also proposed radical changes to health policy, including blocking National Institutes of Health research from publication in top medical journals and revising CDC vaccine guidelines without following standard protocols. Despite mounting criticism, Trump has expressed full confidence in Kennedy’s leadership at HHS.
