United Parcel Service (UPS) has introduced a new online tool called UPS Global Checkout that allows international shoppers to see upfront the full cost of their purchase — including duties, taxes, and fees — as global tariff threats continue under President Trump.

The company says the tool is designed to eliminate surprise costs that often appear after cross-border deliveries. “UPS Global Checkout solves that problem,” the company said, ensuring shoppers know the total amount due at checkout.

“With UPS Global Checkout, we’re making international shopping around the world as easy as buying in-store,” said Kate Gutmann, UPS EVP and president of International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions. She added that the tool supports retailers by helping drive additional sales and making expansion into new global markets easier.

U.S. tariffs are collected by Customs and Border Protection and vary by product and trade relationship. Recent Trump administration tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico disrupted previously tariff-free trade under the USMCA agreement.
