Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party after her 2020 presidential bid, has emphasized that Vice President Kamala Harris should not be underestimated in her upcoming debate with former President Donald Trump. Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Gabbard noted Harris’s extensive experience and suggested the debate would offer voters a chance to compare the records of the current and former administrations.

Gabbard, who recently endorsed Trump for the 2024 presidential race, also mentioned that she has been assisting him in preparing for the debate. She pointed out the differences between Trump’s and Harris’s records, highlighting their respective roles in the highest offices in the U.S.

In response, the Harris campaign dismissed the critiques, arguing that both Harris and Trump have changed their stances on various issues, but emphasized that Trump’s recent shifts are inconsistent with his past actions.
