Recent polls indicate that former President Donald Trump is gaining popularity, while President Joe Biden struggles to appeal to Americans. A CNN/SSRS poll shows that 55% of Americans view Trump’s presidency as successful, while 61% view Biden’s tenure as a failure.
In a head-to-head matchup, Trump leads Biden by 6 points (49% to 43%). Trump also leads among young voters, with 51% support compared to Biden’s 40%.
Polling averages in key battleground states (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) show Trump leading Biden in all of them. The races in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are closer, but Trump still leads.
These results come as Biden has seen some improvement in recent national and state-level polls, but overall, the Democratic incumbent appears to be fighting an uphill battle against his Republican rival.
