WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump said U.S. military forces will remain deployed around Iran as part of what he described as “armed monitoring” to enforce compliance with a fragile ceasefire agreement.
The deployment includes naval, air, and ground forces positioned near the region, with Trump warning that any violation of the deal would trigger a “bigger, and better, and stronger” military response.
