A petition by Faithful America, a Christian organization opposed to “Christian nationalism,” has garnered over 11,200 signatures as of Thursday, pledging not to vote for Donald Trump. The petition was launched after Trump’s speech at the Turning Point Action Believers’ Summit in July, where he urged Christians to vote in the upcoming election, suggesting it might be their last chance to do so.

“Christians, get out and vote just this time… Four more years, you know what? It will be fixed. It will be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore,” Trump said, drawing widespread criticism.

Faithful America’s petition condemns Trump’s remarks as “horrifying,” calling him an “existential threat to our democracy.” The group also criticized Project 2025, a conservative blueprint by the Heritage Foundation, linking it to Trump despite his attempts to distance himself from it.

The petition concludes with a firm rebuke: “We Christians WILL vote—in 2024, in 2028, in 2032, and beyond.”
