Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has released her delegates and urged them to support Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. “The nominating convention is a time for Republican unity,” Haley stated, emphasizing the need for strong leadership on national security, border control, debt reduction, and economic recovery. Despite her endorsement, Haley, the only woman to seek the GOP nomination, was not invited to the convention. Her spokesperson, Chaney Denton, confirmed that Haley “was not invited, and she’s fine with that. Trump deserves the convention he wants.”

Haley, who secured 97 delegates from 12 states, was the last significant alternative to Trump. Although she withdrew from the race in March, she continued to receive support in state primaries. Trump’s campaign did not comment directly but referenced Trump’s positive remarks about Haley following a rally in New York.

Currently at the Hudson Institute, Haley reiterated her support for a president who prioritizes key conservative policies. While acknowledging Trump’s imperfections, she confirmed her vote for him, criticizing Biden’s presidency as a “catastrophe.”
