Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) agreed with Nikki Haley’s suggestion that former President Trump should focus more on policy, not personal attacks, in his 2024 campaign. In an NBC interview, Graham acknowledged Haley’s recent remarks that the Trump campaign “can’t win” by discussing Kamala Harris’s race and intelligence. He emphasized that the focus should be on Harris’s policy choices, which he views as deeply liberal.
However, Graham also called on Haley and other GOP leaders to join Trump on the campaign trail rather than just offering advice on television. He believes a policy-driven debate is Trump’s best path to victory and urged the former president to focus on key issues like inflation and the southern border.
