Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee and daughter-in-law of former President Donald Trump, claimed on Fox News’s Hannity that the “deep state” is responsible for the challenges faced by Trump, including a recent hack of his campaign and technical glitches during his interview with Elon Musk on Monday.
Lara Trump alleged that there is a coordinated effort by Washington insiders to prevent Donald Trump from returning to the White House. She provided no direct evidence to support her claims, which echo previous accusations made by Trump and his allies against a so-called “deep state.”
While the Trump campaign has suggested Iranian involvement in the hack, citing a Microsoft report, Tehran has denied these accusations. The FBI is investigating the matter. Musk attributed the technical issues during the interview to a “massive DDOS” attack on the platform.
