WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump confirmed Friday that he is rescinding his endorsement of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), escalating a public rift fueled by her calls to release the alleged Jeffrey Epstein files. In response, Greene posted a screenshot of a text message she said was sent to Trump that read, “Check the flight logs of Epstein’s plane.”

Greene told Politico that Trump’s decision “comes down to the Epstein files,” saying full disclosure was “common sense” and that Americans deserve transparency. “Releasing the Epstein files is the easiest thing in the world,” she said. “Just release it all and support the victims.”

Trump wrote on Truth Social that Greene had “gone far left,” calling her a “lunatic” who “complains constantly.” Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, he said potential challengers were already preparing to run against her in Georgia’s 14th District. Greene fired back on X, accusing Trump of lying about her and suggesting his opposition to releasing the files “sent him over the edge.”

Trump later said he will ask Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate Epstein’s ties to Bill Clinton and other public figures.
