Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has expressed her interest in a potential vice presidential slot, if offered, saying that her mission is to serve the country and to solve problems.

Gabbard was recently mentioned by former President Donald Trump as one of the names on his shortlist for vice president. Trump confirmed the names on his list, which included Gabbard, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.

However, Trump did not reveal when his running mate would be announced. Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party in late 2022, is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for the 917 Society at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort next week during a night celebrating the Constitution.
